This lunchtime series is offered virtually and is an easy way to engage your campus’s change agents in conversations about servingness, becoming HSIs, policies that affect HSIs, and a number of other topics. Dr. Gina Garcia will spend 1 virtual hour with your campus community to discuss topics germane to your staff and students, guided by ¿Qué pasa, HSIs? podcast episodes. It’s a fun, interactive, low-stakes PD to develop HSI-mindsets
This professional development opportunity is offered virtually as a 3-part or 6-part series for HSI teams and HSI advocates on campus. Participants will read and discuss Transformation Hispanic-Serving Institutions for Equity & Justice and the workbook. Co-authors Garcia & Endris will guide teams of 10-15 educators and decision-makers on campus through the theoretical foundations of the book and walk them through the workbook, providing advice and guidance on its usage. This is a hands-on, interactive experience, with a focus on action.
Host an exclusive book talk with Dr. Garcia who will discuss the books’ origin, foundation, and key take-aways with your campus community, either in-person or virtually
